That you have a friend who can't dream or see pictures in his head and that I have met countless readers who have difficulty with the same means that we really need to take a deeper look at visualization and how we teach it. I'm eager to try it out using pictures and internet photos (I haven't yet). It's a technique writers use sometimes when they're developing a character - find a picture in a magazine say that looks like you're image of the character. <br /><br />I believe that some people can't visualize. I have no scientific proof, just a friend who doesn't dream or see pictures in his head. But I wonder if we can teach people to visualize.
